Class size is limited to 6 students with the exception of the puppy class, which is limited to 8. If you'd like to register for a class, please print and fill out this registration form.

Due to class size limitations, pre-registration is required.

Crate Games

Based on Susan Garrett's innovative protocol, it teaches dogs not only to enjoy the time in their crate but shows handlers how to utilize the crate for motivation, impulse control, response in drive, recalls, distance work and more! This class is suited to both puppies and adult dogs.
A hard shell or wire crate will be required for class. 

This class is 3 weeks. Fee: $40

Puppy Play-Training and Socialization

This class is for young puppies ages 8 weeks to 16 weeks. Covered topics and exercises include: management of your new puppy, proper early and on- going socialization, playing by the rules (with both dogs and humans), making training fun, and introduction of teaching attention, sit, down, come and walking on lead.

Early socialization of puppies within the first three months of life is extremely important. The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior believes that "it should be the standard of care for puppies to receive such socialization before they are fully vaccinated" as discussed in this attached position statement.

This class is 4 weeks. Workbook included. Fee: $55.

Evening class held:

Puppy Playground

Open to socialized, adolescent or adult dogs to encourage continuation of appropriate social skills and to educate owners on recognizing appropriate vs. inappropriate play, learn to read body language, why, when and how to interrupt, how to lower arousal levels, and the pros and cons of play parks. Observe dogs teaching each other social rules and boundaries. Much of this class will be off leash play. Basic skills of attention, sit, down, and come will be reinforced. Open only to past or current Wonder Dogs students. Instructor approval required.

This class is 4 weeks. Fee: $55

Basic Obedience and Life Skills

This class is for adult dogs over 16 weeks of age that have no basic obedience skills or young dogs coming out of the puppy class. Skills taught include: Attention, sit, down, stay, come, walking on lead, house rules and manners and just for fun we throw in a couple of tricks! Problem behaviors, leadership roles and management issues will also be discussed.

This class is 7 weeks. Fee: $105 Workbook, email and phone support included.

3-D Class: Duration, Distractions and Distance

3-D2 Class: Duration, Distractions and Distance Squared

This class is for those that have already attended 3-D at least 2 sessions. We will continue to enhance the dog's performance around distractions, build duration and work more on distance behaviors. Foundation Skills for Competition Obedience

For Novice and Open levels. Learn to test, train and maintain your dog's understanding of foundation behaviors for competition obedience using all positive reinforcement methods. Learn how to build your dog's skill and confidence Learn handler skills to improve your dog's performance both outside and inside the ring.

This class is 6 weeks. Fee: $95

Beginning Musical Freestyle

Freestyle combines tricks and obedience and sets them to music to form a dance routine with your favorite partner! This class is for those looking to learn about the sport of musical freestyle and get started teaching their dog the tricks and skills needed to put together a performance routine. This class will include an introduction to clicker training.  Prerequisite: Basic obedience class.

This class is 6 weeks. Fee: $95

Continuing Musical Freestyle

Continue to build skills taught in the introductory class. Add variations to behaviors for a fresh look, learn sequences of behaviors for use in routines, learn how to choose music that sets you and your dog up for success, and proof behaviors for more intepretive handler movement.  Get started on intermediate level behaviors, and prepare for competition or demos. Open to all levels. Prerequisit of Introduction to Freestyle class or equivilant.

This class is 6 weeks. Fee: $95

Private Sessions

Customized one-on-one instruction. Your home or my training building. Pet, problem or performance. $55 per hour. Initial evaluation and consultation for aggression cases is $75.

Silly Dog! Tricks are for Kids

Competition Obedience: Novice and Open Levels

Learn the fundementals of competition obedience. Instructor Cindy Leung will show you how to train exercises from the AKC novice and open levels using fun and positive methods. Cindy is a top obedience competitor earning many High in Trials, and is a UKC, ASCA and MBDCA Judge. Instructor approval required. (Not offered this session)

Rally Obedience Course Run Through Drop In Practices

Nested novice and advanced courses. Both Rally and Freestyle Practice Nights are open only to Wonder Dogs students (past or present) or Dogs Gone Dancin' members. (Not offered this session)

Rally Obedience Level 1

Rally is a sport in which the dog and handler move together through a course of 10-20 stations. Each of these stations has a sign indicating the skill to be performed. This class will teach you how to train your dog new skills for this fun sport, building confidence and teamwork between dog and handler. This class will include an introduction to clicker training. Prerequisite: Basic obedience class. This class is 7 weeks. Fee: $95 (Not offered this session.)

Rally Obedience Level 2

This class will cover primarily Advanced/Excellent signs with a review of some of the Novice signs most often used in the upper levels. Prerequisite of Rally 1 class or approval from instructor. (Not offered this session)

Personal Trainer

This class is designed for each student to work independently with the help of a trainer to reach their personal goals for themselves and their dogs, including but not limited to refreshing basic and foundation skills, honing competition skills, learning clicker skills and tricks or new skills the handler would like to get the dog started on. Handlers learn to identify problem areas and create and follow through on a training plan. There is a prerequsite of basic obedience or equivalent. This class is 4 weeks. Fee $65. Sampler Class

Have you wondered what Rally and Freestyle are? Have you wanted to learn more about using the clicker in training? This class will allow you to explore the fun sports of Rally and Freestyle and introduce you to using the clicker in your training. Prerequisite of a Basic Obedience and Lifeskills class or a 3-D class. This class is 6 weeks. Fee: $105. (Not offered this session.)

Silly Dog! Tricks are for Kids!

Open to kids ages 9 and up. Learn how to teach your dog fun tricks such as rollover, high 5, ride a skateboard, jump through a hoop, take a bow, spin, figure 8 through your legs and more! 4 wks of instruction plus performance night for friends and family! Pre-requisite of a basic obedience class or instructor approval. Parent or adult guardian must attend.
